Two natural hot springs are in Laugarfell, which give the place its name. The springs are built from natural stones using old  traditional methods, giving them a lot of charm.

The view from the pools is beautiful, with Mt. Snæfell overlooking from the distance. According to old folk tales, the warm spring water has healing powers. Relaxing in the hot springs is a wonderful way to enjoy the peace and quiet of the bright Icelandic nights, after a day of hiking or sightseeing.
